Hello Warhammer People!!!
Hello everyone! I’m the wife of the warhammer freak. Is warhammer freak PC to say? I’d like to start out by saying I love my husband. I’m a Special Education Teacher at a Junior High School. I love teaching and I absolutely LOVE my students. My husband has been amazing at always showing interest in my kids, how they’re doing, what I’m teaching, how my IEP (Individual Education Plan) meeting went, so on and so forth? He knows all the acronyms, he knows all my teacher friends, although he hasn’t formally met most of them. But he’s a part of my teaching which is a huge part of my life. So with that being said, when my husband asked me to be a part of this Warhammer Blog I said yes out of obligation. He’s my husband. I love him. How could I say no? But the goblins? The skulls? The swords? The big scary spider guys? They’re freaky! It’s dark! And then there’s the game playing! The pulling out of the tape measure, the attacks. Then there’s the roll to hit, the roll to wound, and oh, let’s not forget the armour saves. Oh my gosh, can we say confusing??? What is it about this game that intrigues everyone?!?! My husband taught me how to play chess about a month back and I love it! He says chess is just a small stepping stone to what is warhammer. Again, I love my husband and I really would LOVE to be interested and be a part of what he is interested in. So if there’s anyone out there that can help me out with this, that would be wonderful! And also, do YOUR wives or girlfriends play with you? Is this only a MALE thing????

This blog is a project I am conducting documenting my experience of learning how to play and paint Warhammer Fantasy with my wife. I hope to post how much I spend, what I buy, and my wife's reactions. We will unbox everything together. I hope this blog will provide insight into how this all works and also encourage others to make their loved ones a part of what they enjoy.

Update: The direction of the site has now changed. So as I am sure its not a huge shock my wife Karissa was not into warhammer Fantasy/40k =(. I never got around to actually playing the game because lets face it the game is super hard to set time aside for. Even if I did bring my army to the local shop no one really wants to play a 750 pt game.

The focus of the site is moving toward warmachine. It all Starts with a battle box. We will see where this goes.
