As I wait for my paints to arrive I contemplate the learning curve of fantasy. In 40k you can have a good time playing with just a few rules. I suspect this is not the case with fantasy. I can only imagine it is impposible for the goblins to win without using magic in the battle for skull pass. This book I think lays it out in a clear way. I think the biggest barrier to entry to this game is knowing the rules. Games Workshop should make this content available on their website. People who like the game will still buy the box set.
