Crystal Base
This would be a cool base for a high elf sorcerers or something like that. I had a great time painting it. The more I paint the easier it gets. Give me some feedback. Do you guys like this set of posts I am doing?

Second Generator
I know I say this every time but I think this is now my favorite capture point I have painted so far. I just love the concept of capturing a power generator. It would be cool if there was some type of resource gathering mechanic in the game. Kind of like there is in the RTS computer game Dawn Of War.

Crystal Capture Point
I don’t know how many of you our there have ever played the game Starcraft but this crystal reminded me some something from the game. You can use this as a node to capture or as part of the terrain on the board.

Power Generator
This was one of the capture points from the set below. I wanted to keep the theme dark and industrial for this set so I did not add to much color. I think this is going to look great on the battle field.

Capture Points and Crystals
My next set I am going to paint is a series of capture points and crystal bases. This is some of the cooler markers I have seen out there. I would like to play a game using them.

First Round Of Painting
I started with what seemed would be the easiest thing to paint. The crystals. I was able to do both very quickly. All I did was primer them black then coat them blue then dry brush them white. I think They turned out well.

I want to thank Armorcast for sending over some of its products for my review.

If you would like to buy some Crystals from them Checkout This Page.

Mr. Lux Googies
I had another wonderful tea season with Mr. Lux at Aroma’s in Santa Rosa, CA. As you can see briefly from the picture above, Mr. Lux has hooked me up. I am particularly excited about painting the altar, which was of course sculpted by Mr. Lux himself. More Painting soon to come. =D

Armorcast Base
This base was one that Mr.Lux sculpted. This is my first terrain base I have painted up. I think it has turned out pretty good. it took me about ten minuets from start to finish.

First Terrain Piece - On The Cheap
Making terrain is usually time consuming and buying it cost lots of money. Here is a great way to get started with some great looking terrain on the cheap. This house took me maybe 20 minutes to print , cut out, and glue together.

This blog is a project I am conducting documenting my experience of learning how to play and paint Warhammer Fantasy with my wife. I hope to post how much I spend, what I buy, and my wife's reactions. We will unbox everything together. I hope this blog will provide insight into how this all works and also encourage others to make their loved ones a part of what they enjoy.
